David Ter-Oganisyan

David Ter-Oganisyan is an accomplished piano instructor who teaches students of all levels, from beginners to advanced pianists. With a solid foundation in classical piano performance and pedagogy, David is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of musicians. His teaching method, refined over many years, fosters student development in technique, artistry, and a love for the instrument. David’s dedication to excellence and passion for teaching make him a motivational and practical instructor, inspiring his students to realize their full potential.

Education and Early Career:

David began his musical journey in Armenia, studying at the Central Music School at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Yerevan. He continued his education at the music school in Moscow, followed by advanced studies at the prestigious Alfred Schnittke Music College and the Russian Gnessin Academy of Music. During this time, David studied with renowned teachers such as Irina Gabrielova, Honored Teacher of Russia, and Maria Gambarian, Honored Artist of Russia and Armenia, who significantly influenced his artistic development. To further refine his skills, David pursued an artist diploma at the Columbus State University SchwobSchool of Music. Throughout his educational journey, David has consistently demonstrated his talent and dedication, earning accolades such as first place in the Georgia State Piano Competition and the title of laureate in the Moscow Regional Competition. David has also participated multiple times in the International Piano Festival in Ruza, Russia, where he showcased his talent and dedication to the art of piano performance.

Having had over two decades of experience in piano performance and education, David has acquired deep insight into the art of teaching. He is committed to creating a nurturing, supportive, and encouraging environment where students can investigate their creativity, forge their technique, and develop a lifelong love of music. With his vast knowledge of classical piano literature and technique, he helps develop the student’s individual artistic personalities. By combining a strong foundation in music theory and expression and interpretation, David empowers his students to become well-rounded, confident performers.

Masha Gorodetskaya

Maria Gorodetskaya is a highly skilled piano instructor who teaches students of all levels, from beginners to advanced pianists. With extensive experience as a professional pianist, accompanist, and educator, Maria brings a wealth of knowledge to her lessons. Known for her exceptional performances and ability to nurture talent, Maria is dedicated to helping her students grow and achieve their musical goals. Her passion for teaching and commitment to excellence make her a sought-after instructor.

Education and Early Career:

Maria began her musical journey in Russia, earning a Master of Music in piano performance from the prestigious Russian Gnesin’s Academy in Moscow, under the guidance of renowned pianist and professor Maria Gambarian. She continued her studies in the United States, earning a second Master of Music in piano performance from the University of Florida.

Professional Accomplishments:

Throughout her early career, Maria participated in numerous international piano competitions, demonstrating her exceptional skills and artistry. Her talent and dedication have led her to perform on stages across Russia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Germany, France, and the United States, including renowned venues such as the Tchaikovsky Conservatory and Carnegie Hall. Maria’s performances have earned her recognition in prestigious competitions, including the International Piano Competition by Rubinstein in Paris, France, and the University of Florida Concerto Competition, where she performed Rachmaninoff’s Concerto No. 1. In addition to her solo work, Maria has served as a professional accompanist for instrumentalists and ensembles in Russia and the United States, demonstrating her versatility and collaborative spirit.
